This apartment is only a stone's throw from the cathedral of Florence. It is incredible, but true: to reach the Duomo, the very heart of the old town of Florence, it is just a one minute walk, to be exact only 100 m!
The palazzo dates back to the period around 1400 and was once the refectory of monks. Steps of the silver-greyish Pietra-Serena stone bring you up to the flat on the second floor.
Upon entering you will see an open space living room right in front of you. The room is very high and has a beautiful ancient wooden ceiling. There are two very high windows - the room is filled with light.
As you open the windows, the palazzi of the opposite side of the road are in front of you. Leaning out of the window and looking to your right you will see a small part of the grand red cupola of the Duomo with its white lantern on top of it. Not many of the exclusive hotels of Florence can beat this central location!
